Sometimes there are no signs when you need a root canal or not,
or sometimes there are signs. When you have signs of a root canal you're
either in extreme pain, that throbbing sensation that just doesn't go away,
or you developed an abscess. So with those cases,
it does depend whether we can do that root canal the same day or not.
As far as the silent ones, those are...
I really feel like they are the ones that are called the ticking time bombs.
They're teeth that have extensive decay
inside your nerve, and it really depends on
you know the mood of the tooth. One day it could hurt; one day
it couldn't, or all of a sudden you just wake up with this throbbing pain
and before he gets to that point, what you want to do is get that root canal done
so you don't wake up there one day - you know, it could be your wedding day
it could be your graduation day it could be a very important day -
and then that tooth that it is throbbing.
