ROBYN LYMAN: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Robyn and we're getting ready now
to start coloring our drawing. I don't know what colors you like. As you can see, I have
an array of colors. We can color in blues; we can color in greens. I got to the point
now I ask people what their favorite color is and I have so many different drawings in
different colors. I like to have one all in pinks, some blues and greens. I started coloring
that and thought, "Well, I don't like it." And I thought, "Well, I'll just do the colors
of the rainbow." That's easy to do, but then I realized the rainbow don't start with yellow;
they start with red and then it goes to orange and then into green and then to blue and indigo
and purple, violet and purple. So we'll go ahead and start picking our colors and start
coloring on from here. From here, the color after that would be a yellow. So as you can
see, I've got lots of different yellows. One thing you want to do whenever you're coloring
is always have a blank piece of paper to see how your colors are going to blend. Make sure
that these colors aren't going to be--sometimes you see what it is, isn't what it is, and
it'll be a really dark different yellow. So those two yellows there will blend pretty
well together. So the pens I like for doing large area coloring are these right here.
These are the Bics. They cover a lot of ink really fast, and when you color over them,
it doesn't show any darkness. You can't even tell I colored it over. I have that right
there. I can color on that. You won't even see that. As soon as it dries, it's the same
color, so it's a really cool pen for doing that. Also these other pens that I really
like, these Forays will do the same thing. But they're for more detail, so if you have
a lot of little drawings like in that one square I had earlier with all of those little
squares, you wouldn't want to use your Forays until you get to a larger area to color with.
These Sharpies do the same things and they are great pen to color with because they'll
do the same thing. They won't color over. So the Bics, the Sharpies and the Foray are
my best pens for coloring in. And when coloring, you want to always make sure you stay right
in the line. And it's just like with the coloring book, you don't want to go outside the line.
Especially if you have a dark color, if it goes out it's going to mess up the drawing.
