My main goal is to network and meet people like me.
To exchange ideas and best practice,
good experiences with suppliers.
Hearing about networking
comes in tied at first, for me.
This forum is an exciting mix of knowledge from speakers,
but also meeting with partners and learning
how the market or supplier is thinking.
It creates knowledge about how I should move forward
in various areas and manage them.
My main purpose is to share our experiences
and help others.
And to gain experience too.
What have you learned,
what has been challenging
and what can be improved?
The exchange of information, really.
It's really to get to discuss sourcing
because we did a big outsourcing in 2013, so we're in our first year.
So it's nice to follow market trends and see what's going on.
You have to be one step ahead.
I came to meet colleagues in the industry
and people in equivalent roles
that make the same mistakes as I do.
So networking, you could say.
I think it's been valuable to hear from our big banks
and to learn about how they work with IP and offshoring.
Probably the meetings I've had
with some of our partners about sourcing strategy.
They’ve been the most productive so far.
I have a big interest in everything about offshoring.
It's a burning question that IF have avoided earlier,
and I think it's interesting. We've started looking into it
and Nordea's presentation was particularly interesting and inspiring.
Probably everyone who comes up after you've spoken
and wants to know more
and have a discussion.
I think it's great to see
that there's so much interest in just one day,
but also that you can take away future discussion opportunities.
There were some great presentations,
but the discussion about offshoring was particularly interesting
because a lot of people at my table were from the public sector
where there are some limitations,
but we saw that there is opportunity to use it in development Projects, etc.
The most useful were some things
that gave me a heads up.
So then you go home and think about how you can apply it
and then maybe do something with it.
Interesting. I'm a bit jetlagged since I landed last night,
but that could be positive since I couldn't really stress out about it.
But I've found it to be very inviting.
All the technical aspects and preparation went well.
And my group discussions gave me great value
to go around and talk myself.
That was one reason I wanted to have a group discussion…
it's nice to get some feedback and listen in a bit.
I'm like a child in that I really enjoy being on stage and speaking.
I think being a speaker is fun.
I'm comfortable up there.
It was fun. I think it's fun to share your knowledge
and contribute to making the community smarter.
I believe in partnership and networking in general.
Frightening. I am not very used to speaking.
But I think I said what I wanted.
I got a lot of feedback afterwards,
so I think it went well.
