Hello everyone, Bijasan here, and today I catch up with you to talk a bit about Rahu and Ketu, the Moon nodes, that I had written an article about some months ago on my blog.
I then was just explaining brievly their energy, and today I will talk about their concrete action in the birth chart, as I realized Rahu and Ketu actually guide a lot of our impulsions and subconscient and energetic parts of our daily life.
They guide us without having us concious, to our aspirations and what we flee, they are two poles of attraction and aversion.
In western Astrology, Rahu and Ketu only kept their karmic values, Ketu being our roots, the place we came from, what we have understood, what is familiar and confortable for us in this life, whereas Rahu is our aspirations, what we must accomplish in this life in order to feel fulfilled.
In Indian Astrology, they somehow also have these values, it is a less famous part of Indian Astrology, but which is also present.
Since Ketu represents our will of being detached from the world and staying in the more subtle and spiritual fields, somehow it is what we understood and don't need to experience anymore.
On the other hand Rahu represents our impulsions, obsessions, our fears, anguishes, and the continuous will of success and domination over the material.
So it also somehow represents, inconciously, our constant call and drive towards the field Rahu rules.
Eventhough it is totally obsessional and inconcious, it is also an urge to explore fearsome parts of ourselves, and in which we have things to pass through, understand and transcend.
Rahu invites us to such actions. These two axises always bring us to either confronting our fears, either getting back to our confort zone, by extracting from the material, and our responsabilities, and wordly impacts.
As we understand these two inner aspects that control us, and how they absorb us in our *** for success, power and material realizations, and how sometimes we feel discouraged and get back to our ivory tower, and deal with our confort zone, whe have to understand how these two aspects keep on happening,
this is because we need Ketu, this already known value, in order to go towards the unknown and explore that realm.
Rahu and Ketu are always 180° far from eachother, always opposite to eachother, so they always act in complementary fields, complementary houses.
For instance, if Rahu is in the 4th house and Ketu in the 10th house, the10th house being action, outter world, work, and the 4th house being "home sweet home", emotions, inner world. Somehow, having Ketu in the 10th house means that in the past, we have experienced work, action, we had a materialistic life,
in which we were very worldly and accomplished many things for our professional success, and maybe we neglected our wellbeing, happîness and simple things, our home life.
In this life, these are things that can have us afraid, we can lock up ourselves from emotions, and fear the moments we stay home, these can be frightening moments, but at the same time, sometimes we really want to please ourselves but we are afraid of neglecting our professional life.It can be hard to join these two aspects in our lives.
But the two aspects are complementary, and when we understand that realizing our professional life and getting linked to our roots and inner life, only then can we find true happiness.
For instance, having a "wellbeing" job like masseur, taking care of houses or interior designer, etc, all things that can be linked both with home and professional success can make those natives find what they were made for.
So it is very important to consider this axis, alignement of Rahu and Ketu in order to master and not letting ourselves getting controled by these subconscious instincts.
Voilà, I hope you enjoyed the video, that you will understand Rahu and Ketu a bit more, if you want to have a consultation with me, don't hesitate to call me, or booking an appointment via my blog, we can do it on skype or at my place.
