This April a team of international youth ambassadors are embarking on an epic quest to the North Pole
on behalf of nearly 3 million people who have joined the movement to protect the Arctic from oil drilling and industrial fishing.
When they get there they will plant a glass pod and a flag for the future designed by the youth of the world.
A flag that stand for peace, hope and global community, that says the Arctic belongs to all of us.
"We've been running the competition since November"
"The World association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts have been helping us do that"
"Through their help and the networking we've been doing we've got entrants from 54 different countries."
"So what we really wanted to do was a properly global competition."
"I love this one, for all the colours and just the design."
"I love this one for the style and this one here for just creativity, it's just so out of the box"
"And then we have our winning design which is kindof encompassing all of it"
"There's the circle which represents the global community and the Arctic circle with all the ice around it."
"These doves all coming together in these rainbow colours"
"and the idea of the wreath of laurel leaves, the peace."
"Sarah I'm in London with Greenpeace and I'm one of the judges"
"We really really love it and so in fact you've won!"
"We know now it's the young people who want to save the Arctic as well."
"If you don't save the Arctic you won't save the world."
