[Gapforce] Hi, right, I'm James. I'm from an organization called Gapforce.
[ISA] Hi I'm Ellen from ISA, or International Studies Abroad.
[American College in Dublin] Hello I'm Jaimie [..] from the American College in Dublin.
[Arcadia University] Hi, I'm Bridget [...] with Arcadia University.
[University of Kent] I'm representing the University of Kent and
what makes this program so special is that you get a lot of one-on-one time with
your professors and no matter what your major is you get to work with them and have
a really great time. [Semester at Sea] Semester at Sea is really good for building your inter-cultural
skills. You're adapting yourself to a different country every few days. So you start become
skilled at reframing your own behavior and cultural norms to be relevant to where you are. [ISA]
We have programs in 22 different countries in over 44 different cities. Within Spain
itself we have nine different cities and we work with a bunch of different host universities
where students can go and take classes with their locals, international students, or other
US students. [American College in Dublin] The college is mainly liberal arts and a business
college. So we have programs on history, art, English creative writing, performing arts,
business, international business, accounting and finance. We offer summer programs (4 week
and 8 week programs) and full semester programs as well. [Gapforce] We run international volunteering
and internship abroad programs. Usually two to three months. We've got 40 programs, 15
countries—If I have to pick one, one of the most unique one's, has to be our green
conversation program in the Bahamas. [Arcadia University] We have programs in over a hundred
countries in every major with 2.5 million dollars in scholarships available and, especially
for the students who are interested in research opportunities abroad, they should look at
our summer programs. We're delighted to be at the study abroad fair today and we'll continue
to come back for the few years. Stop by our table!
