On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to teach you how to make Peking
Chicken Wontons. Today we're going to talk about Peking chicken we're going to take some
Peking chicken which is a take off of Peking duck and make some baked wonton cups and put
the Peking chicken mixture into the wonton cups for a delicious Asian appetizer. This
as I said is a take off of Peking duck, Peking duck originated in Bejing several thousands
years ago. It's still eaten by many many thousands tens of thousands of Chinese everyday, it's
considered one of the Chinese national dishes. The way that you make Peking chicken actually
if you do it the right way it takes a couple of days. You're going to roast a crisp skin
duck slice it, slice the skin and the duck meat and it's important to have the skin cause
it's really crunchy and crackly. Serve it on scallion pancakes with extra scallions
and sauce with is a plumy cut of thick sweet sauce. We're going to do something a little
different and a little more approachable. Not everybody has access to duck but certainly
everyone can come up with a couple of chicken breast. When we come back we're going to talk
