I'm David Horn Solomon, I'm the CEO of Bionor Pharma, a Norwegian listed biotech company with headquarters
here in Copenhagen, in New York City, and in Oslo. I'm very excited about ideas to
raise capital in the United States for specifically Danish companies, and I
think in health-care one of the key features is that companies should be oriented
to look at innovative ideas among their assets and their and their positioning
going forward. By innovation I mean things that are fundamentally
revolutionary and not evolutionary, things that are fundamentally
disruptive. So we're talking about inventions like the computer, like the
internet, like the light bulb, like the automobile. If things are just
evolutionary, they don't really attract the attention of good US investors, they
can find those evolutionary ideas in the US. So for foreign-based companies that
are attracting capital in the US, the ideas have to be fundamentally new, ideas
like Skype, ideas like Vivino, ideas like a lot of the apps that are truly
revolutionary today, so if there is one feature I think that
entrepreneurship should focus on in developing their companies, strenghtening their companies, I would
say it's the revolutionary ideas that the companies are based on.
