Hi this is Helena, I am the director of Chefs, Inc. and on behalf of Expert Village I am
going to be showing you how to make a delicious cream of mushroom soup. Now we are going to
take half of our butter which will be about two tablespoons and we are going to put that
in the skillet and once that melts we are going to add our mushrooms and go ahead and
add them now so I have enough of that going. I am going to turn up the heat a little bit.
We want to have it on medium heat and we are going to cook these mushrooms just until they
get lightly golden. The type of pan you want to use is a medium to large size frying pan
and we are going to get these nice and golden and tender and then I am going to move this
to here and we are going to take the other half of our butter and put that into this
sauce pan which is going to actually have all of our soup in it as the final product.
We need to get that melted in there
and to that we are going to add about one small sweet onion or I guess it is about a
quarter or a third of a cup. We are going to put that in the pan and now to this pan
we are going to add our chopped mushrooms.
