Margot Robbie has been nominated for an Oscar for her work in I, Tonya… but guess what…
She doesn’t want to win - at least not yet.
The 27 year old was giving an interview in Australia when she made the confession and
she revealed that it’s great to get nominated but she doesn’t want to take home the coveted
trophy just yet because she’s scared of giving speeches.
Margot said the ideal situation is to be nominated and not actually win cause then it’s lovely
to be nominated and then she won’t have to make that speech.
Which is a surprising confession for an actress.
Margot not only won over critics for her portrayal of the disgraced figure skater but she was
also one of the film’s producers.
When she found out about the nomination she was surrounded by friends and family and she
and her mother started crying.
We want to wish her luck but we also don’t want her to have to get up in front of a crowd
and give some terrified speech.
