hey guys this is imovie how to showing you imovie tutorials. Today we will be looking at
how to apply sound effects in iMovie 11
so first
what you need is a audio base clip or a movie clip
we want to
edit the sound with
so in this case I have a voiceover of myself saying "test test".
so then i can double click on it and then press the "i" key
and bring it up with the inspector
to access the audio effects you can click on
this like
button where it says audio effect
that will bring you up to an audio panel where you can choose from a lot of effects
as you can see,
there is a lot to choose from
muffled sounds like you are muffled,
robot makes you sound like a
robot
cosmic makes it like an old staticy feel
Those effects are to make you sound like
you are in a small hall or in a very large building
and down here
here's one of the more useful
or fun effects you can do
with iMovie
you can modulate the audio so you can apply a lower pitch or a higher pitch
and these pitch down one, pitch down two, pitch down 3, pitch down 4 those are
different variations of
lower pitch
so the same as
some steps of three steps up or four steps up
in modulation
so yeah these are the audio effects in iMovie 11
