Larger areas needing repair can be difficult to do using the Healing Brush or Clone Stamp Tools.
The following module will show you how to use
the Patch tool in order to remove a large marking like a tattoo.
The practice file that we are going to be using for this excercise,
is called removing_tattoo.psd
After you open you've opened it in Photoshop,
Go ahead and find the Healing Brush tool again in the Tools panel.
Right-click on it, then select the Patch tool.
Move over to the canvas,
then using your mouse, click and drag around the tattoo
in order to make a selection.
After your selection's been made,
Click on the selection, then drag it
downward towards the untattood skin area.
Then release.
Click and drag the selection down again
in order to remove the rest of the tattoo.
After you're satisfied with your edit,
Go to the Select menu.
Then select Deselect.
