Hi, guys
Happy Thanksgiving!
Today's look was requested and
if you would like to see the photo of it
it will be posted on my Facebook.
To start of..
taking small sections, using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron..
curl everything away from the face..
and I'm going to just let it curl for about 20 secs
And you don't have to worry about the ends at this point..
because that's going to be taken care of later
And then grab a big roller, or if you don't have a roller
use any object the size of this hairspray that I'm using.
I'm using this here today, because I wanted to show you
that you can use this method as well.
This is just to create some volume.
I'm smoothing down the hair, and then wrapping that
piece around the big hairspray can, letting it cool off..
before pinning it up.
The first section is everything below the ear level.
You're going to smooth down the mid-shaft with the curling iron..
and then just bump the ends upwards.
That is, curling it just once. We don't want to
make this hairstyle curly, although it's going to look kind of flippy and curl'ish at the end.
We just want to give it a smooth finished look.
And then the next section is about your eyebrows.
So you pretty much do this until you get to the temple area..
And then, all the hair above the temple area, you're going to curl UNDER.
So the bottom section is curled UPWARDS and..
the top section is curled DOWNWARDS.
And then when you get to the crown area, that is..
eyebrow arch to eyebrow arch, you're going to pull the hair forward towards your face and then..
curl everything away, towards the nape of your head.
And then spray some hairspray while your hair is brushed forward and then smooth down some pieces.
And then the very front hair, I like to use my blow dryer, because the blow dry technique tends to give you more of a fluffy, airy blown out look.
And then before your hair cools completely, you're going to split your hair to your part.
So I'm going to part my hair to the right, before the hair gets cold.
And that's it. Apply hair oils with your hair flipped down, so that you don't kill all the bounciness with the oil.
So here you go. Quick, blown-out, full, glamorous hair. Without much products or teasing.
Thank you so much for watching. Please don't forget to subscribe, thumbs-up and share this video to see a new hair tutorial every Thursdays & Saturdays. Bye, guys!
