Anti-oil exploration protestor Elvis Teddy's case
was adjourned this morning.
He's charged with resisting police arrest
and operating a vessel in an unsafe matter
during protests by Te Whanau a Apanui and Greenpeace
against oil giant, Petrobras.
These people arrived to support Teddy
and they say they have the right to challenge the government's licence
granted to Petrobras to explore the Raukumara Basin
on the East Coast for oil.
Teddy has a new lawyer,
so his case will be heard on the 27th of this month.
