You are looking very handsome this evening. Thank you.
Can I just say I'm heartbroken you guys are breaking up?
Aw, bless you. I really am really sad. But are you really excited about tonight's performance?
You know, for us it's always important to do as much as we can to give back, and tonight
is a special night for us. Our JLS charitable foundation is teaming up with Capital, and
we're going to be raising a lot of money for children with cancer. We're putting on a special
performance tonight. We're doing a song we've never done before, and this is the way we
like to kind of end off our year by just kind of giving back.
And obviously, you're got your farewell tour coming up. Is there going to be a lot of tears?
I can imagine it's going to be emotional for you guys.
Yeah, to say the least. There are probably going to be one or two tears, but I think
obviously for us it's about a celebration, you know. It's obviously a goodbye tour, but
it is about going through all the hits that we've had and all the memories we've had with
all the fans and making it really intimate. Just us and them in this one arena. We're
just having one last bite.
Some are predicting hopefully a Take That, maybe in a few years you get back together?
Maybe?
Well, there's no plans for that. We made a conscious decision, and for us we want to
stick by our guns. Obviously we're performing on tour around the country, so we want everyone
to come down to the show, and that's going to be the last time you're going to see us perform.
Very sad. Now guys, you smashed it on X Factor over the weekend. Amazing performance. What
was it like being back on that stage?
We're always so grateful to be asked to come back. For us, that was a really kind of weird
moment because, you know, when we were performing on the X Factor as contestants, you know,
we had a guest performance that we would be standing next to, and they'd walk through
the main doors and we were so privileged to sing on stage with them. Now all these contestants
were literally running up to us and they literally couldn't believe they were performing with
us. That's so weird. They're fans of us now, and now we're the ones walking in as kind
of X Factor royalty, you know, in our own right.
It's amazing what that show did for you guys. It gave you this incredible career. I mean,
you can't thank it enough, right?
Of course not. It's given us a huge platform. We knew that when we did the show. You know,
we've thoroughly every single moment that we've had since the show, you know. And obviously,
I think we've performed the most on that show as return contestants out of anybody, so it
just shows how much the show has a place in our hearts.
And obviously One Direction were there at the same time. We've got Niall over here.
He's at our table tonight.
Did you catch up with the boys?
No, they actually weren't there. They pre-recorded, didn't they? So yeah, they weren't there,
but again we always like to catch up with the boys. Talk about their different adventures.
It's always good.
Amazing guys, and what's next for you?
I mean, obviously you're a good dancer, as we've seen on Stepping Out.
Stepping out there.
Do you think maybe a career in dance is for you?
No, for me that was just great. AJ- AJ's over there- we did it together. It was something
great to experience together, you know and for me, we'd done what we had to do on that
show, so you know, there's many other things that I'm going to go on and do.
