It's election day. You're registered.
You've done your research and you're ready to vote. Now what?
Get your cheat sheet all set for how you're gonna vote.
And remember – you can bring it to the booth.
Get your fashion on!
Start serving some looks!
Pop out for Election Day!
Stun on 'em all the way to the polls...
But just so you know you can't wear anything politically related
to the candidates or issues on the current ballot.
Now it's time to get your voting location. To find out where that is go to michigan.gov/vote
Bike, drive, walk, dance, skateboard hoverboard – however you can get there
take your friends with you. The more the merrier.
Follow the signs, get in line and check in with the poll worker who will get you all setup for voting success.
They'll ask you for your ID and if you have it flaunt it.
If you don't have your ID, don't worry you still have the right to vote.
Just sign an affidavit and your vote will count.
The the poll worker will give you a ballot and a privacy sleeve and send you to the next available voting booth.
Pick up a pen and fill out your ballot.
Don't forget to jump down to the nonpartisan part of your ballot.
These are super important. These include judges, school and library boards and other really important issues.
Cuz, you know, who doesn't have issues?
Then tuck your ballot in the privacy sleeve, you know, so it's all warm and snug
and just take it back to the poll worker.
They will get you set up at a voting machine where you insert the end, and
Whoosh! – it's on its way to getting counted.
Then go get your "I voted" sticker so you can wear it the rest of the day
get your high fives and ride that voting high!
FYI, if you're into the selfie thing, you've got to wait till you're outside your polling location
and then you can snap away.
