I chose to study at the University of Birmingham because I did my undergraduate here and I
was really impressed basically the facilities in my department were really good, I had lots
of friends here, I knew there was lots of stuff I could get involved with societies
wise and the whole package appealed to me.
the one think I’d recommend to someone considering postgraduate at the University of Birmingham
is to get stuck in and join a society, get involved, play some sports, do whatever you
want there's so much on offer and it's a great way to meet new friends and hang out with
people outside your own learning group.
My biggest achievement at the University of Birmingham to date is probably gaining a place
on the trip to Delhi which was an intensive module ran by my department, it took place
over a week and gaining a place on that I think there were only eight places and it
was a great opportunity. It was an amazing experience and I’m really proud that I got
the chance to do that.
My time at Birmingham has shaped my ambitions for the future by showing me I want to do
a PhD I really enjoy studying, I enjoyed my course so much and I don't want to stop now
so I’m continuing my study here and I start my PhD in September.
