So in this series we're going to kind of, up our difficulty level. And do some three
and four movement combinations. Ways to get into and out of the five step jump. Like we
talked about before. We're going to try some different leg movement variations. And we're
going to some counting to ensure that our moves stay on the beat. One of the common
mistakes that I see people make when they're first learning Sabar. Is not learning to do
it quite correctly on the beat. Which is nobody's fault, really. The Sabar rhythms are pretty
difficult. They're very poly-rhythmic. When you first hear them, it can kind of, just
sound like a whole bunch of noise. All at once. So what we want to do is, we want to
do a little counting. Before we add our drum, which is going to be in a later series. We're
going to be doing some counting. It's just going to be helping us to make sure that our
movements are on the beat. Make sure that we're doing them correctly. We're not ahead
of the drum, we're not behind the drum. And that's going to involve the five step jump.
Some turns that we learned before. And some new moves that haven't gone over, just quite
yet. So that's what we're going to be doing. And get ready to do some more dancing.
