What's up everybody Justin here again, I got another video coming at ya here, a little
something special it's like Christmas in my house again. Got a gaggle of parts behind
me let's check it out if anybody can guess by now you should be able to read Tekno EB48
we're going big 1/8th scale style with the buggy. My first 1/8th scale buggy ever, of
course I went with the Tekno buggy since I already have the SCT410 truck so it only made
sense. I got a bunch of parts here to go along with it, Proline Caliber tires, couple TBR
T-bone racing skid plates. Ofna aluminum servo horn just like I have in my truck, got a couple
of these Amain Eco Power four cell packs, they're only 35C but we'll see how they do,
got a couple of those, should be good. Another Tekin RX8 I went with a gen 1 again to keep
the costs down a bit, those things work awesome. And the big dog Tekin T8 2050kv motor, so
let's get into this thing I haven't even broken the seal on this box yet so we're gonna open
it up, check out what's inside and then we'll see how the build goes in the future. Alrigh
let's crack into this thing I've been looking forward to doing this for a little while this
thing has literally sitting on my bench for a week I haven't had time to get around to
it and open it up so, looking forward to it. I'm assuming it's not going to be a lot different
than my SCT410 but none the less should be awesome. Instructions addendum just like in
the truck, scoot this out of the way a little bit. And diff oils, lubes, all that good stuff,
more thread lock. Got our nice big 1/8th scale wing out of the top of the box, diff plastic,
some hardware. And our body, nice narrow long body, I'll paint that up like the same paint
scheme as all my other cars, got a matching fleet. And let's see, find some scissors.
As I suspected laid out just like the SCT410, bag m some shocks suspension stuff, bag n,
more shock and suspension stuff. Plastic side guards, cool thing about this is everything
should be nearly identical to what it was with my truck so the build should go quick,
I'm not sure how many build videos I'll do of this guy since most of it is nearly identical
to the SCT410 but I might do some build videos of the other things that are different in
the kit compared to the truck. Whole bunch of bags, some diffs, some more diffs, some
diff housings, shock towers, more diff housings and shock towers, sway bars, this one came
with the mudguards too, that's pretty cool my truck didn't come with mudguards. Some
arms, suspension arms, hub carriers, hubs, these look much bigger than the truck, big
old bearings in there, axle hardware, drive shafts, all that good stuff. This looks like
the braces and the front bumper. Bag H more arms, hinge pin holders, hinge pins, center
drive shaft here I'll probably get the aluminum lightweight drive shaft for a replacement
eventually like I did with my truck. Bag J looks like all the steering assembly, the
akerman, did I get the aluminum akerman with this one, looks like it. That would be awesome,
bag e, not sure, oh this must be the wing mounts where you mount the wing I'm suspecting.
These must be the rear hubs hub carriers, gigantic bearings, and the other hexes and
axles and dog bone assembly. And our chassis of course. This one looks to be more drilled
out and lightened compared to my trucks chassis, lots more notches drilled out. I don't think
these things come with the lightweight chassis by default, do they, I'm not sure. anyways
looks a little different than the truck. And manuals, sticker packs, of course, all that
good stuff. And that's it for the un-boxing, get this thing built up in the next couple
of weeks or so here, look forward to taking this thing out to some of our outdoor tracks
we've got a couple out here in Colorado. But should be pretty fun, get some race reports
and race action video for this thing and I can't wait, looking forward to it, stay tuned
for those videos, check ya later.
