Today, at El Hogar ProVegan, we're gonna make "veganesa"
It's delicious and it's very easy to prepare. We don't need any products from animal origin and it also has a low fat content
The ingredients are: salt, garlic, lemon juice,sunflower oil and soya milk (unsweetened)
Add the garlic and the oil.
The proportions are: for each cup of soya milk, two of oil.
And this is very important, if we add more from one liquid than the other, it curdles.
We add the soya milk,
the lemon juice (squeeze it aside with a juicer because if you do it with your hands some seeds might drop and it will turn the veganesa sour).
A tablespoon of salt.
Beat with the mixer
first leave the mixer in the bottom of the container,
then you can start moving it
We taste it to check if it needs more salt or lemon.
Add a bit of lemon.
Then I add a bit of olive oil, that gives a more consistent texture and flavour
Just a dash, not much
We beat again
And it's ready
This is the texture you should have, not very liquid. It's perfect like this
