Hi! My name is Leslie Moselle and I'm from Tampa, Florida, and on behalf of Expert Village
I'm going to demonstrate the multiple uses of makeup applicators. Lesson four: the powder
brush. The powder brush comes in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it can be confusing as
to which one you should actually use. To me, this one is all about preference. There are
some scientific reasons for why they're shaped the way they are, but I usually like this
one. This one's my favorite. Easy to use, and basically this is for your powder foundation
or your translucent powders or bronzers. I'm going to show you how to use it with a translucent
powder. I've just tapped some of my powder into the top of my bottle and I'm just going
to lightly tap in my powder brush into the powder and just tap off the excess so that
you're not getting too much of a powder on the brush. Then you just lightly dust on the
powder making sure to get it in all areas. This gives you a nice finish. It doesn't apply
too much of the makeup. You can have a nice veil of makeup on your face instead of the
cake of actually applying the pressed compact onto your face. Once you get all the areas,
cover all the areas of the face, you should be done. That is the use of the powder brush.
