After the launch of SnoozeShade Original, which fit single-seated
prams and strollers, I kept getting quite a lot of e-mails from twin mums
and mums of children who were quite close together in age,
asking if we could possibly create one that is specifically for
twin push chairs.
This is the twin stroller version
of the SnoozeShade Original
and this works on the double width hood versions of prams and strollers.
The first thing we do is simply place this new shade over the top of the hood.
Some of the twin strollers have quite long hoods
so therefore it's a good idea to actually just retract it slightly when you're starting to fit it.
Another tip
is to actually fit the bottom part first.
Simply
take the
hard part of the Velcro on one side
and attach it to the soft Velcro on the other side underneath the frame like this.
Then do the same with the other strap.
This means you don't have to worry about attaching them individually.
Then, as I said,
pull the hood back
and just pull the straps
around the pram frame
from this side
and this side.
Then move the hood forward as far as you'd like.
Pull this down
and around.
There you go
Then
you've still got the side straps to attach.
Just do that part to any part
around the frame.
Again, you've got the side strap
to just give you
an idea.
You can just fit it anywhere that there's a space.
You can fit it here or fit it here,
Anywhere really.
That's it.
Job done!
Now, you can check on your baby,
baby one,
baby two.
Check they're okay
and hopefully then
they'll nod off to sleep and let you know when they want to wake up.
The end result is this is SnoozeShade for twin strollers in full sleep mode.
Now when the babies wake up,
Some mums have written to me, telling me how they use their SnoozeShade,
and they very cleverly use it as a shade extender to protect the baby's eyes from the sun.
I'll just show you how to put it into that mode.
Simply unclip your straps
and the side straps
and then pull it back.
Now I actually recommend
particularly on this model,
just literally pull it back to where you want it, how long you want it,
how much shade that you need
and then just use
any of the straps that you find appropriate
to attach around the side
and then here.
That's it.
When the sun direction changes, it means that
you don't have to worry
about the sun getting in your child's eyes and getting a little bit of extra protection.
