Now we are going to do a bebop scale on the accordion. So we start with our A flat major
scale and what bebop musicians do is they add in a extra note. You have all these chromatic
notes in between the scale and we are doing all these fast 16 or 30 second runs you want
a even number scale so I"m going to add in this flat 7 and you would see. Or I can add
in this triton right here.
So I'm going in and out of the A flat major scale and improvising so I'm just going to
play a 1,6,2,5 on my left hand. So 1 is right here, 6 goes up 3 notes and then you just
head back in the 1s. So 1,6,2,5,1,6,2,5,1 major, 6 minor, 2 minor, 5,7. And that is
a bebop on the accordion in A flat major.
