Hi. I'm Amelia. And I'm here to answer the question, if hair grows faster in the summer.
Actually, hair grows a half inch to an inch a month depending on your genetic type. Some
people's hair grows a little bit faster. So it would be closer to an inch. And then some
people's hair grows a little bit slower. So it be closer to a half an inch, maybe even
a little bit less. That's per month. Now in the summer, it can seem like your hair is
growing a little bit faster. And I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that it's
just plain hot out. And so, more hair means it's a little bit more uncomfortable to deal
with. So no, I don't think that your hair grows any faster in the summer. Also, during
the summer, people do tend to be a little bit more active. So when you are more active,
your metabolism speeds up. So, in turn, all of your body functions do tend to increase.
So your hair may grow a touch faster, but I would not say it grows any faster than it
would at any other time during the year. So the answer to that question is, I would say,
on an average: no, your hair does not grow any faster during the summer.
