Hey guys! This is Heather, from HealthyEatingStartsHere.com. So my thought for you today is to motivate
yourself for whatever it is that you want to do whether it’s healthy eating or whether
it’s something else in your life that you want to accomplish.
Motivate yourself by doing the things that give you energy, that make you feel awesome.
So for me this week the online cooking classes that I started doing really give me energy.
I love connecting with the people in the classes and hearing their questions and what not.
And that, afterwards, I am so pumped and energize that it’s hard to go to sleep so I’m gonna
keep doing those and energizing myself that way. Also, skating practice last night was
awesome so I get energy from doing physical activities that I really enjoy.
So figure out what it is that energizes you and do that more often, make time for it.
It’s so easy to say that “Oh! I don’t have time to do this, it’s just for myself,
it’s just to make me happy or whatever” but what is more important than making yourself
happy? Honestly, I don’t think there’s too much more that could be more important.
Now it might feel selfish but here’s what I said to a friend a couple of weeks ago or
a couple of months ago actually from now. “When you do things that inspire you to
be better, your helping everyone else by being the best person that you can be.
Now, that’s sound really cheesy when I say it like that, I know but I can’t really
say it any other way and it’s true! It’s really is! If we all aspire to be better and
if we do the things that motivates us to be a better person, be more efficient on what
we are doing – do it more effectively then we are going to contribute more to the overall
work that everyone is doing together in the world.
Wow! That really dealt into super cheese, I apologize but I hope it help you guys to
think about what you do during the day, think about the things you do that drain your energy.
Try to do less of them, it’s not always possible but maybe think of them in a different
way and try do things that really give you energy.
Because its about more than healthy eating, it’s about having a really awesome life
and healthy eating allows us to do that and that’s why it’s so important but the reason
we eat healthy and we do all this good things for our body is so we can be happy. So do
more things that make you happy.

hope you are looking forward to that for I’m sure am. It’s gonna be yummy.
