Hi my name is Ruth and welcome to another video from Tech-Compass
Wouldn’t it be nice to navigate your way around your Windows computer much faster than
ever before?
Well in this tutorial I am going to share with you our favourite keyboard shortcuts
So let's get started
When you have many different applications open and need to quickly switch between them
press the Windows key + Tab until you find the required application
If you need to work on one application whilst referring to another then snap them into place
by pressing the Windows key + left or right arrow key
In order to minimise one of your applications then press the Windows key + downward arrow
key once to restore down and twice to minimise completely
To maximise the application simply press the Windows key + upward arrow key
To use Windows explorer and see your folders and drives press the Windows key + E
To close any application press the Alt key + F4
Using search to launch applications can save lots of time, just press the Windows key and
then start typing the name of the application, when it appears hit enter
To minimise all open applications and show the desktop press the Windows key + D
And last but not least if you need to access Windows help then press the Windows key +
F1
We hope you find these shortcuts useful and if you have any of your own then please share
in the comments section below
Thank you for watching my name is Ruth
