I think that the, the challenging thing is, you need to accept how you are and really
work with it. You know there are some benefits to being a more uptight structured person
just how there are some benefits to being a really laid back person. I think that if
an uptight person, you know tries to become laid back; instead of using their energy and
channeling it constructively, that becomes very counter productive. You know, I think
one of the great things about coaching, is that its not about fixing you; you are not
broken if you are not laid back. Some people are naturally more laid back than other people
and that should be okay. If you finds that, the way that you are, is negatively affecting
your relationships or your work performance; then its something that I encourage you to
get help or support around. But there are certain things that you can do, that will
help to relax you. And the most effective tool you have is breathing. Which means that
you stop and you center yourself and its just a simple inhaling for a count of four and
exhaling for a count of four. You know, our breath is the one tool that we have that guarantees,
that we could be in the physical moment. And a lot of times that's all you need to be fully
present with what's going on.
