In this clip we're going to come into our first inversion, and it's shoulder stand,
sarvangasana. So before we even come into our sarvangasana, we want to make sure that
we are properly set up. We took two blankets, clean edges stacked neatly one on top of the
other, and then we folded the end of a mat over, just to expose enough of the blanket
so that we can shift our neck and then to have enough so that our elbow will be braced
safely. Amy will lower herself down. Her shoulders will line up with the edge of the blanket.
She's going to then walk her feet in, lift her hips and place her backs of her hands
behind her. Her fingertips are reaching up towards the sky. She's pressing down through
her triceps, and then with her inhalation she's going to draw both feet up towards the
sky. Big toes to touch, inseams of the leg pressing firmly.
