Hi, I'm Matt Cail. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm here today to show you how to do a mime
costume. Don't neglect footwear for your mime costume. Often times people deal with everything
and they will forget the shoes and they will be left with this. You're going to want black
or white shoes; black are much more common. Again people may have black shoes other than
industrial looking black shoes. But you also may have some nicer black dress shoes the
big thing to keep in mind is what exactly are you going to be doing with your mime.
Are you going to be doing a whole lot of physical comedy or anything more of the lines of falling
down and slipping. If you actually want to be able to slip easily, getting more of a
dress shoes with a smooth bottom will help you out. A lot more than say having a shoe
like this which have a lots of grips on the bottom very very hard to slip in that said
if you want to be able to keep your feet about you and have really good grips on your shoes,
the shoes will be appropriate. The most important thing is to make sure you have the shade right
don't be black and white all the way from the top of your head to the bottom of your
feet then have brown shoes. It's something very easy to overlook and something you need
to make sure and get and dealt with before you get your costume together.
