Today on our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be test fitting the Pro Series Eclipse
4-Bike Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier for 2 inch Hitches, Part Number 63124. Now, we'll begin
by sliding the bike rack shank into the hitch, lining up the hitch pinhole, and installing
and tightening down the anti-rattle bolt. With the bolt tight, our bike rack is secured
to the vehicle. At this point, we'll give you a few measurements. Our ground clearance
here at the back of the bike rack is 10-3/4 inches. From the closest point of the bike
rack to the back of the vehicle here at the mast, measures 3-3/4 inches.
We'll now pull the lanyard here off the pin or we can remove the pin and allow the bike
rack mast to tilt down. This will give us access to the cargo area. And as you can see,
we can gain access to the cargo area even with this bike rack secured to the vehicle.
We'll now move up to the cradles, where we'll undo the straps to expose them. We'll place
the bike into the cradles and bring the straps around, securing our bike to the bike rack. And
that's it, our bike is loaded.
