Joho Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Jo Cognito from Videoamt with the subject "Film language".
Yes, and in the film language there exist two definition "shot" and "reverse shot" and I'm going to explain them.
I want to make it clear in an interview situation, two persons who have a dialogue and you shoot with two cameras.
Camera 1 and camera 2.
Depending on who is speaking, so if the interviewer speaks we use this camera,
if the girl speaks then we use the left camera.
And you switch between the cameras during the whole dialogue.
Here you can see the camera settings, of course this is variable.
You can fokus on the eyes and it looks good when the persons are differently big,
unless you want to show that you have the one side a giant and on the other side a dwarf.
But this is the classical way of the "shot-reverse shot" principle.
In the video-editing program it looks like this, I've cut the szenes and as you can see here,
shot and reverse shot.
To illustrate it I've added two little clips, the reallife clip-camera and what you've seen in 3D.
Recently at Cologne, near the congress area:
Hello sailor, are you looking for a harbour? Where do you want to go?
Have we met before? You're very blue, did you act in "Avatar"?
"Avata"r? No! But I can show you the way to the Red Sea.
Sounds interesting.
Tell me: Do you work for the shipping company "Clickboom"?
What makes you think that?
I use to recognize this immediately, you have a nice shirt.
Hmm, I think you got me, I work for them.
Well, then I offer you a special prize.
You want to offer me a spezial prize? Let me know!
For the shipping company "Clickboom" the trip to the Red Sea just costs a five.
A five? Are you kidding me?
Well, you should link me at your channel.
No problem, Baby. Let's get to the Red Sea for a five.
Thank you my big strong warrior.
