The Lahti Ski Games are behind us, we saw great competitions with very good conditions. Not really typical for Lahti.
This is very important for us. We could show that it's not always difficult in Lahti and that it's a great facility.
With the cross country stadium and the ski jumping hill here, it can't get any closer than that.
The hill is at an exposed position but we had excellent conditions on these three days and so we were able to show
that we can have a great atmosphere here and that this hill is very good to carry out a ski jumping festival.
Now we had three competitions here and the World Cup already continues with the qualification in Kuopio tomorrow.
Lots of energy is required towards the end of the season.
Over the years it showed that the fast transition from tension to relaxation is working.
It would be more difficult if we would have a break now because the athletes need to remain active and that's easier with competitions
especially in ski jumping where you have to be on such a high level.
And I also think that the venues are worth going there on the way to Oslo and then we have two more weekends.
I have to ask this question: Three or four athletes are fighting for the yellow bib now.
Is this fight between Kamil Stoch, Peter Prevc, Noriaki Kasai and Severin Freund still exciting for the race director after so many years?
Especially because this is also due to the measures we took. We said before the season that there will be more fluctuation amng the winners
and this is a confirmation of that. If this is the only reason remains to be seen. It's great that we still have this excitement.
Thank you very much and have a nice trip to Kuopio.
