I actually didn’t see it at first, until someone came in and was like “What’s the
Humane society?” and we were like “It’s working with animals,” and she was like
“Eww, that’s disgusting” and I was like “where was it? I didn’t see it.”
I have two Chihuahua s a Yorkshire terrier, a pit mix hound, now I have three Chihuahua mix,
and two cats.
Basically maintaining the kennels assisting the customers, well not the customers, but the people when they come in to look at animals,
adopt out animals.
Well after my father died I was like six and I was the backbone of the family besides my mom, while everyone else was crying I couldn’t
cry because I had to hold everyone together. So, all my life I had to be the stongest person.
She was meticulous in her work, she was clean, and she made sure that each of the animals that she was taking care of were well cared
for, not just did a job but she made sure they each had their little toys and that they
were all set up real nice and that they had plenty of food and water. Something that just
an employee may or may not do but for her knowing that it was a short time frame, she
didn’t treat it like it was just a temporary thing, she treated it as like it meant something.
It was kind of a surprise because earlier when I was starting she was like there were
no openings, but if some were to come up, I would be her first choice. But I didn’t
think anything of it, I actually thought I was in trouble for something and then she
was like “Well do you want this job?” and I was like “Yes I would love it.”
I was like real shocked and suprised.
So it worked out. She got an opportunity to show us what she could do and she took care of the animals for us very nicely and in the
end we got a good employee out of the deal.
