Hi I'm Veronica Baragas with mywigglesandgiggles.com, and today I'm going to show you how to take
a road trip with a toddler. I would definitely suggest in getting to know your map and where
you're going, so that you can allow for travel time. We know our little ones like to run
around a lot and stretch their legs, so allowing plenty of travel time for yourself and for
your little one is key. Also having a checklist ready with certain things that you are very
prepared on a trip. Can include some dry food snacks like cheerios or they also serve little
toddler snacks, raisins maybe even some cut up apples. Something that's not going to be
too messy, easy clean up. Also some plastic bags in case due to sickness, or if you get
some wet clothes, that way you can just throw it away. Definitely take plenty of bottle
water. Sippy cups with tight lids that way you can eliminate the less, less spill. A
small cooler would be suggested for a child's milk, or you can purchase some from store
to store. Depending on what equipment you have. I would definitely do favorite books,
even some music for sing a longs. Prepare something that's special to them like a lovie,
a blanket, or maybe even a little teddy bear. Like I said allow plenty of time for stops,
and fresh air, extra clothes. Especially our little ones like to get dirty. So and then
plenty of patience. Play lots of games, and make sure you are well prepared for your trip.
So that's what I would do to prepare for a road trip with my toddler.
