So now we're going to learn how to make unequal layers, which is building off of the layer
video from previous. So this is a layer. So an unequal layer is going to have one side
that's longer than the other side.
Take a piece of card stock and measure out a long rectangle. And now what we're going
to do is we're going to cut it out. So now we've got a rectangle that's going to become
an unequal layer. Instead of folding it all the way to the edge, we're actually going
to fold it towards the middle. So take one edge, fold it towards the middle and crease
the side.
So now we have an unequal layer. Take your base page. We will not be lining it up along
the center line. What we're going to do is you're going to take a pencil and you are
going to mark the shorter edge. So line up the edge of the layer, and then mark where
that fold line is. And then what we'll do is we're going to line up the long edge next
to that mark. Tape it down, and then tape the other side down.
And that is how you make an unequal layer.
