Hi everyone! We're at Battery Park right now. And behind me is the Statue of Liberty.
I'm going to be a tourist today and explore the city of New York by visiting different places.
But I wanted to share with you my outfit of the day.
I took a little shower at the fountain.
But to keep it casual and nice and breathable,
I'm wearing just a cotton, yellow top.
And I love yellow and purple, I think it's the perfect complimentary color.
So to accent that purple, I have my bag with me.
To keep the rest of our outfit neutral, I have my wet, very, very wet, grey jeans.
And some brown sandals. And we're ready to explore the city.
We're here because you are...
gorgeous!
We are in Brooklyn and behind us is the Manhattan skyline.
It is gorgeous and it's so beautiful.
So breezy... so Titanic.
But I wanted to share a styling tip with you.
One of the things I love to do and you see me do this a lot on the blog
and the videos as well.
I like pairing proportional volume.
So whenever I wear a loose shirt like this,
I like pairing it with a very tighter, kind of slimmer bottom.
So skinny jeans are perfect. Tights are perfect too
if this was untucked,
But just loose and tight, it goes together very well proportionally.
We're in Grand Central Station.
And a lot of films and movies were filmed here.
It is such an iconic place, it is absolutely gorgeous.
I can spend hours here.
The lighting, the colors, everything.
I wanted to share a second styling tip with you.
I picked up this vintage necklace from Sammy D. Davis
And I love going to vintage stores, selecting more older, unique neck pieces.
But to have a more experimental look, I basically wrap the necklace outside of my collar.
So it's more modern, more experimental.
I think it's a nice, fun vibe.
We are at Times Square, the heart of New York City.
I love, love the buildings. I love the lights,
and I especially love the energy of this place. I love New York.
But thank you so much for being with me today!
I hope you enjoyed the styling tips.
And being with me as we explored New York.
But I will see you soon on Youtubeland. Bye!
