My name is Kendra Arnold I am an expanded function dental assistant. Originally I was
in the health care field and I decided I was going to change careers so I realized I needed
to get my GED so I came to RCC and I got my GED and enrolled in the dental assistant program.
The dental lab in the Medford campus was wonderful to work with, very organized, new and high
tech. When I took my class with Bobbi Kidder at RCC in speech class I was a tight little
ball that didn’t want to be open and open up and after the class I was more open and
willing to speak and I think that’s really been an asset in my job as a dental assistant.
I felt when I was ready to go into the world of assisting I had enough training and the
basic skills to thrive in the dental world. I would recommend RCC to anyone, I have actually
recommended RCC to a lot of young girls and boys and they ask “what do I do, what do
I do” and the first thing they need to do is get in their car, drive to the parking
lot and walk into the front office and they will start you on your journey to a wonderful
education.
