RMIT University has three campuses in Melbourne -
located in Melbourne central business district, Brunswick
and Bundoora. In Vietnam,
RMIT has campuses in Saigon South and Hanoi.
RMIT's design programs range from creative arts to fashion,
architecture and engineering.
Other highly regarded fields of study and research are health sciences, technology
and business. It's teaching and research is linked to communities and businesses
in Australia and internationally.
I had a great time at RMIT. It was just sort of a natural extension
of my
education anyway.

and RMIT fitted in
seamlessly

The architecture course had a fantastic reputation.
We had daily or weekly presentations
where you had to stand up and fight for your ideas
and I think that was, in retrospect, one of the great tools that RMIT and the course gave you.

I'm a sport scientist based
here at the Victorian Institute of Sport
working with the Australian shooting team.
I'm undertaking a masters research program with RMIT University.
The use of ice vests in sport
is nothing new but the development of the cooling vest by RMIT University
and the Australian Institute of Sport really changed the way we look at cooling in sport.
So the links that we have with RMIT are critical in servicing our athletes.
But also in developing the sport scientists of the future.
RMIT has one of Australia's best records for graduate employability.
The University offers qualifications from TAFE certificates and diplomas, to undergraduate
and post-graduate degrees across a wide range of disciplines.
I'm from Malaysia, currently
studying
a masters in geospatial science.
I don't miss home too much because there's a lot of Malaysians here too and Indonesians
and there's a lot of other races.
There's the Post-Graduate Student Association,
the Malaysian Student Association
There's a lot of student associations, which is really helpful.
There's also student services available during Orientation
where you can go and ask questions and they're
really helpful in showing me around.
Like the prayer room, one of the
international student advisors actually brought me there to show me the place.
More and more students are choosing to study abroad.
In recent years, a growing number of students from India, Southeast Asia, China
and many other countries have chosen to study at RMIT.
This adds to the vibrancy of campus life and a deepening of cross-cultural understanding.
RMIT maintains links with former
students in Australia and overseas.
RMIT's reputation as a truly global
university is growing
as we create knowledge to meet the needs of industry and community.
And as we foster in students the skills and passion to contribute to
and engage with the world.
