When you're ready to finish the fluted columns,
do one more stitch, only keep this stitch loose.
We're going to put three strands through each of the four holes on the sides.
We're not going to use the hole in the center.
We'll start with this blue hole.
We're going to use these two blue strands and the purple strand and put all
three of them through this blue hole.
We're just going to take each strand and bring it around the near strand of
the same color, and bring it up through the hole.
So first we'll wrap this blue strand around the nearest blue strand,
and bring it up through the blue hole.
Then we'll wrap this purple strand around the nearest purple strand and bring it up
through the same hole. Then we'll do the other blue strand.
Wrap it around the nearest blue strand.
Bring it up through the blue hole.
Then just go around and do this with the other three holes.
For instance, you'll take the two orange strands and this black strand and bring it
through the orange hole and take the two yellow strands and the purple strand and
put them up through this yellow hole.
The two pink strands and the black strand and bring them up through the pink
hole. Once you've brought all the strands through,
slowly tighten them. Then cut the strands at your desired length and you have finished
the fluted columns.
