Yay, it's all for the kids, we love the kids. This is Challenge for Charity Weekend. It's
the biggest GSB held event uh, of every year. We have about fourteen hundred people that
signed up here. It's a competition based on sports, based
on volunteer hours that we've raised over the year.
Beautiful day to play volleyball. And today we have the sports part of the competition.
So all the schools are out here competing across, I think, 25 different events.
On three Christian, one, two, three, Christian. (cheering)
And the idea was to get GSB students involved in fundraising and volunteer hours and athletic
events all geared towards, geared towards charity and the main benefactor is Special
Olympics. (cheering, s.c., s.c.)
It's a great event and it's all for charity and people have fun. There's sports all weekend
and parties at night. Battle of the bands, dance competition last night.
(music) I just, I love Super C weekend because it's
a chance to hang out with your Business School classmates.
(cheering) It's an opportunity to see people showcasing
talent, their athletic talent. (Yell)
And just being outside and enjoying this beautiful campus that we have and awesome weather. And
it's just a really unique way to bond with your classmates and meet people from other
schools. Basically, it's been an amazing sort of um,
management experience. I mean, it brings out the competitive side
of us, obviously we're all MBA students and we're super competitive. Um, that's the reason
that we are where we are. So, it's a lot of fun to be able to compete with some of the
schools that are here on the west coast that we're not able to see as much since we're
so geographically dispersed. (cheering)
It's a blast. I think this weekend's all about charity.
Camaraderie with all the other fellow MBA students and the good feeling of giving to
charity. It's what this, it's what we do all year for.
I mean, it's what we do all the volunteer hours, you know, that we put in every year,
all the year for the kids. It all accumulates to this. And then, it's just nice networking
with other schools as well. It makes you want to give back more, you know step your game
up even more next year.
