Innokin iTaste Cool Fire 1 Mod from GD
Hi, welcome to the video about a new item made by Innokin: Cool Fire 1.
It is a nice stainless steel item, reminding of mechanical mods,
however it is electronics which gives you a stable 8.5W – for me this is a great plus.
Let´s check it out.
Typically for Innokin products you receive a nice packing.
Inside, there is a Cool Fire 1
plus a clearomizer iClear 30b which we will talk more about later.
However, I can tell you right now that the clear is a version without a rotating drip,
there is a standard driptip as we know them.
Let´s start with the Cool Fire 1 now.
It is a kind of a hybrid, substitution for mechanics,
but giving the user the comfort of not watching the current battery capacity
because the mod has electronics inside which gives a stable 8.5W.
It means it also adapts to the accessories you are currently using.
The producer recommends accessories with resistance of 2.1ohm,
however, I think it will work with many other ohm volumes as well.
Some kind of advantage is that you can use the resistance you like best,
or you can even coil it up on DIY atomizers
– and then you just put the battery inside and enjoy your vaping until your battery goes dead.
The mod is all stainless steel, the bottom lid has holes for airflow in the battery section.
Cool Fire 1 has 510/EGO thread so you can also use atomizers with EGO threads.
The ring has a big enough diameter so it can fit a lot of various accessories.
Let´s do the measuring now.
Weight of the mod without a battery 77.3g,
length 82.45mm,
diameter 21.35mm,
wider spots diameter is 23mm,
inside diameter of the cover ring 17.38mm.
The ring has air holes to supply air to atomizers.
You can use the battery 18350 which goes its plus contact first.
When we screw the cover on, electronics gives us a control flash and the mod is locked.
You can unlock the mod by a three-click again.
One, two, three locked – I can do nothing now – one, two, three unlocked.
Again the electronics runs the test first and then we can vape.
There is a standard control as we know from other iTaste products.
Green light button means battery is charged,
the button starts lighting orange/yellow when battery is on about half of its capacity,
in case your battery needs to be changed the button light goes red.
Because the mod also offers protection against the low battery capacity,
it flashes red several times and then switches off completely
and you cannot use it anymore.
So, you can use batteries 18350 without protection
because the mod has its own protection.
The output current can be around 5A.
I would also like to mention this flexible center contact
which really offers better use with a wider scale of atomizers
which do not always have the same depth of threads.
This flexible center contact can adjust to the length of the atomizer.
Let me remind you again and again – do not over-tighten these items.
For example now, I tightened the iClear 30b to some point,
then move this decorative cover ring towards the iClear,
and then tighten the iClear up.
So, the clearomizer is well tightened
and at the same time I did not over-tighten my 510 thread where we should avoid this.
I have the two parts tightened well and there is no danger of damaging the center contact.
Well… now we could move over to iClear 30b and its functions.
As I have already said, the packing of Cool Fire 1 mod includes the iClear 30b
which does not have a revolving driptip.
The packing of Cool Fire 2 mod includes iClear 30b WITH this revolving driptip.
Bottom parts are basically the same, so let´s have a look at iClear 30b now.
It´s really simple: first a bottom base with a 510 thread with the center contact.
You can see the text engraved here: iClear 30b VV/VW
which means the clear is designed for Innokin products with variable voltage and variable wattage.
I-Clear 30b has an exchangeable head which can be exchanged very easily like this.
The head has 2.1ohm resistance… which can be seen here….
So, this concrete head is meant for a Cool Fire 1 mod which has an output wattage 8.5W.
There are two heating coils, one… two… so it is a dual coil system.
The whole head can be easily exchanged like this.
The rest is a quality polycarbon tube and the top base with an airflow pipe.
And a 510 driptip depending on the version 1 or 2 of the Cool Fire mod.
The bases are stainless steel.
This is how you can refill the clear.
Unscrew the bottom base and gently pour the liquid in by the sides,
screw back in the bottom base, and that´s it.
Now, the clear is ready for vaping,
just wait a bit so that the wicks can absorb some liquid first.
The wicks are soaked,
I have tried and I must say that 8.5W for 2.1ohm really fits, Innokin counted well.
Once more let me remind you and point out:
on 510 thread do the tightening really gently, turn the ring, and then finish tightening.
It is necessary if you want not to damage your center contact sealing.
So… ready to vape.
It´s just ok to your hand…
As I already said, you can use EGO threaded accessories as well.
Well… I guess there really is nothing more to say.
It really shows a good taste, it´s elegant and fitting big as well as small hands.
Have a nice time and see you again at some of my future videos.
