Hi there.
In this video,
I'm going to show you how to set up the internet
on iPhone clones that are using AT&T cell phone service.
The first thing that you need to do is create an AT&T GPRS Data Account.
To do that, you need to pull up the main menu and tap on the "Service" icon.
I need to mention here, that on some of the iphone clone models, the service icon goes by other names, such as networks.
So, just keep that in mind.
After you tap on the "Service" icon...
tap on "Data Account."
Then tap on "GPRS."
You will then be brought to a list of pre-existing GPRS data accounts.
Tap on one of them: it doesn't matter which one. In this example, I have tapped on "CHT GPRS."
You are then brought to the list of settings for that particular account.
Tap on "Account Name," and then tap on "Edit," and you will brought to the edit screen for that setting.
We need to clear out the original account name.
To do that, tap repeatedly or tap and hold on the word "Clear" on the lower right hand corner of the screen.
Once you've cleared it out, type in "ATT GPRS."
Then tap on "Options."
Then tap on "Done."
Then tap on "APN" and tap "Edit."
You are back at the edit screen.
Delete out the original APN, and replace it with "wap.cingluar."
This really should be in lower case.
To type in lower case, simply tap on the "abc" icon at the bottom center of the screen
until it displays "abc" in lower-case letters.
Once you've typed in "wap.cingular," tap on "Options," then tap "Done."
Finally, make sure that the "User name" and "Password" fields are blank.
If they're not, tap on them and delete out the original values, then tap on "Options" and tap on "Done."
Also, make sure that the "Auth. type" is set to "Normal."
Once you've done this, tap on "Done" in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.
Then, tap on "Yes" in the lower left-hand corner of the screen to save the settings.
You have now created an AT&T GPRS Data Account.
Next, you need to create an AT&T WAP profile.
To do this, pull up the main menu and tap on the "Service" icon.
Then tap on "WAP."
Then tap on "Settings."
Then tap on "Edit profile."
At this point, if you have a dual sim phone,
you'll be asked to select the appropriate sim.
Go ahead and tap on the one you want to set up the profile for.
If both sims are AT&T sims, you'll need to repeat this process of creating an AT&T WAP profile for each sim.
Once you've selected the sim, you are brought to a list of pre-existing WAP profiles.
Tap on one of them - it doesn't matter which one.
In this example, I've tapped on "Profile8."
Then tap on "Edit profile."
You are then brought to a list of settings for that particular profile.
Tap on "Rename profile," then tap on "Edit."
Delete out the original profile name, and replace it with "MEDIA NET" or "ATT WAP."
Then tap on "Options."
Then tap on "Done."
Then tap on "Homepage," then tap on "Edit."
Delete out the original homepage and replace it with
http://device.home
Then tap on "Options."
Then tap on "Done."
Then tap on "Data Account," then tap on "Select."
Then tap on "GPRS."
You are now brought to the list of GPRS Data Accounts on the phone.
The one that we created earlier should be in the list; so, tap on "ATT GPRS."
Then tap on "Connection type," then tap "Select."
Then tap on "HTTP," then tap on "OK."
Then tap on "Proxy address."
And, then position your cursor at the very beginning of the text field that contains the proxy address.
You can do this by tapping on or just before the initial zero -- or initial number -- of the proxy address
(it may not be a zero).
Then overwrite the current proxy address with 066209011032.
The phone should place a dot automatically every third number.
Then tap on "Proxy port," and replace that with 80.
Then tap on "OK."
Then make sure that the "User name" and "Password" fields are blank.
Then tap on "Done."
Then tap on "Yes" to save the settings.
Then tap on "Activate profile."
You are now brought back to the list of profiles on the phone,
and you see the one that we just created, and it should have a check mark to the left of it.
If it does not have a check mark to the left of it, then it is not activated: tap on it and then tap "Activate profile."
You have now created and activated an AT&T WAP profile. And the phone is now ready to connect to the internet.
To do this, pull up the main menu and tap on the "Service" icon.
Then tap on "WAP."
Then tap on "Homepage." And the phone should connect to the internet.
