[music playing] This is the Office of Career and Professional
Development. This office is an amazing resource to help you find your career path. They will
do everything to help you get a job, short of actually finding the job for you. So, they'll
look over your resumes, they'll look over your cover letters, they'll help you network
with alumni. In fact, over the summer, I showed some interest in a particular area of law,
and one of the councilors here say, you know, you might want to reach out to X person or
Y person. And there's that instant connection. They know then that you're a student who is
intelligent, is bright, is interested, and is eager to establish a relationship, and
I think that's fantastic. Because you need those sorts of networking resources and opportunities
if you're going to find a job in today's market, right? The other cool thing about this office
is that each of the councilors, they all have their specialties, let's say. So some may
be geared more toward public interest law, or clerkships, or law firms, that sort of
thing, and I think it's nice to be able to have that specific person that you can go
to and say, you know, what's going with this, what opportunities are there out there for
me to apply to, to get some experience? It's so critical. You really have to network and
--Seek it out. --Yeah, seek it out yourself. Exactly. So, it's a great resource.
