Hello. I'm here with...
My name is Danitza. I'm from Belgium.
A Belgian. I was thinking that the Frontrunners 8 recently went on a road trip to Belgium after we went to Italy for our
Autumn Holiday week. How did you feel getting the chance to go back to your country and to show us about Belgium?
Good times but it was hard as I had to be the tour guide and show them the endless attractions. It was interesting.
We all had a good time there, I'll never forget this.
Yes Belgium is beautiful, we managed to tick off some attractions but not all of them so I'll have to come back.
You're welcome anytime, and as are you if you visit, you're welcome.
The last 3 months, Module 1, has gone by so fast, what will you be doing for Module 2 for your project?
For Module 2, I will be going to India, Mumbai to be exact with another Danish Frontrunner lady. Our project's aim is
to experience countries and its culture. The European's perspective of India is something we want to explore on,
as to whether India is developing and that the Deaf community is strong and positive. We're looking to find out
if there are major differences. For example, Europe is so heavily focused on Cochlear Implants and we are wondering
if Mumbai is the same or not. It will be interesting to see the differences and similarities if there are some.
Exciting project indeed, a cultural experience project, should be interesting. I'm keen to know all about it in
Module 3 when we return. Make sure you share the films and photos you'll take.
Have you been to Australia before? No I actually never been there but I have always dreamed about Australia because
the first time I saw images of Australia, it looked similar to Amazon where there's both thick bush and empty plains.
Being able to drive out on the open-wide outback Is something I've always wanted to do. But Australia has all
kind of cities and towns, while right in the middle it is the middle of absolute nowhere. I'd love to see the differences.
To see the orange and the sand. That is what's known as the outback of Australia where there's nothing for miles.
I've been there before, Its definitely beautiful. So this is Danitza from Belgium. Bye!
