>> Hi and welcome to a new D.I.Y. video tutorial
If you've been following me for a while you'll know I'm a big glass jars collector
I keep collecting them because I know that sooner or later I'll find a way to reuse them
in fact on Pinterest I found a cute idea on how to turn old tunafish jars
into lovely spice jars like these ones.
The peculiarity is that you can change the label everytime you wish.
Herew is what you'll need for this project:
some glass jars,
a matte white spray paint,
a color spray paint,
and some chalkboard stickers.
Let's start by spray painting the glass jars with the white paint,
to make it easier I place them on plastic cups.
Then I evenly distribute the paint, just like so.
Once I finished I leave the jars to dry.
In the mean time I take care of the lids
which I lay on a plastic cup
and I spray paint them using the coloured paint,
just like so.
Once I've done I leave them to dry too.
Once both the jars and the lids will be perfectly dry
I can adhere the chalkboard stickers
making sure they are perfectly centered and straight.
Now I just need to write the spice name using a chalk
and the project is done!
Here are our finished spice jars
as you saw the procedure is easy and quick and the result is cute.
You can have find changing the colors
and you can use them to organize buttons, pins, candies or whatever you like.
