This video explains how to align the print cartridges in your HP Printer. Printing an
alignment will help your printer place drops of ink in the proper places on the paper.
Start the alignment process by loading letter or A4, unused white paper into the input tray.
Press the Setup button on the control panel of your printer.
Press the right arrow button to select Tools and then press the OK button.
Press the right arrow button to select Align Cartridge and then press the OK button.
An alignment page will print. After the alignment page has printed, lift
the scanner lid. Place the alignment sheet face down on the
scanner glass in the right-front corner with the top of the page to the right.
Now press the OK button on the printers control panel. This will scan the alignment sheet
and align the cartridges. Once the alignment process has completed and
the display reads, “Alignment Done!” you can remove the alignment sheet from the scanner
bed and recycle or discard the sheet.
