Welcome to Aprons Simple Meals, where you'll learn
that cooking with style can be quick and easy.
Sometimes I come home to a hungry family,
short on time and on ideas.
But if I flip through my Aprons binder,
I know I'll find the perfect solution, like today's
15-minute meal: Buffalo Grilled Chicken with Blue Cheese Spuds.
Begin by combining cornstarch and seasoned
salt in a zip top bag.
Then add chicken, seal and shake to coat.
Add the buffalo wing sauce, seal again,
and knead the bag to completely coat the chicken.
Next, place your chicken on a lightly oiled,
preheated grill, close and cook.
Every once in awhile, press down on the lid to
sear the chicken.
While that's grilling, combine refrigerated
mashed potatoes with blue cheese,
bacon and chopped fresh chives.
Then, cover and microwave on high.
Serve with garlic toast, celery sticks and a zesty
dipping sauce, and you've got a quick and fast meal
with a 15-minute stamp of approval.
