In preparing to do the dragon stretch, one of the most important aspects is breathing.
To get a full understanding of the breathing we're doing, please look at my Zen Yoga breathing
series available here on Expert Village. Once you understand that and are practicing the
breathing, we're going to begin by just gently circling the hips. We need to loosen up the
hips and get them ready so that they're not shocked by the stretching that we're going
to be asking of them. As we get the hips loose and relaxed, we're going to open the legs
a bit wider. We're going to sink down into the hips, dropping, bending the knees, dropping
the hips down towards the floor. Breathing, letting that breath move the energy through
the body, a little bit of side to side motion. Relax.
