Hi, I'm Terri Turco with Expert Village, and now the final frontier. You have your banana
bread that you can enjoy at home, all by yourself. You can add cream cheese to it--however you
like your banana bread. Or, you can be a really, really nice person, and give a loaf to someone
else. So, once again, we're going to use these nice plastic bags. They're not really jiffy
lock bags, these are decorative bags that you get at the craft stores, you can get that
at fabric stores in the craft departments. They're really versatile; you can use them
with so many different packaging goods. To package banana bread is so easy, you can practically
do it in your sleep. You just slip it in this little package, easy peasy, it's so moist,
that's why it's sticking. But moist is a good thing for bread; you don't want your bread
to be dry. And notice how good it fits in there? It's really nice. And then you want
to just bunch it so it gets all those air bubbles out of there, because you don't want
it to dry out. And then you can take a little piece of ribbon, and tie the top. And if you're
really getting creative and really want to personalize it a step more, there's a couple
different things you can do. What I do, is sometimes you can just get on your computer,
and you just print people's names off that you're giving it to. And you can always make
it look like a nametag. And I think, I'm going to give this bread to Pamela, okay? So I printed
out her name on the computer, which was easy peasy to do. And then I just made these little
tag marks with a magic marker. You just, you know, outline it with a ruler, and it looks
pretty professional, I think. And then just take a little paper punch, and put a little
punch in the corner, and then just take that decorative ribbon. Slide it in, and in just
a matter of seconds, you've got a really pretty, personalized, batch of banana bread, for Pamela.
Now if you want to go a step further, you can take those stick 'em's from the business
center that you get. These are just little stick-it--and then you just write banana bread
on there. And just in case Pamela doesn't know what kind of bread it is, you just write
banana bread, and have it come right off. Put it on a side--oop, let me put on there
straight for you. And you are all set to give a personalized gift of banana bread to Pamela.
I hope you really enjoy this banana bread recipe. I have made it time and time again
and my friends and family absolutely love it. So, when you have a minute, make a quick
loaf of banana bread. I know you're going to love it.
