One of my favorite ways to get a really natural, fuller lash look is by applying individual
false lashes. So here are some tips on what to do. So, first I actually line the eye.
We did her makeup already. I did just a little bit of black cream liner right on the lash
line and also a little bit of mascara and curled the lashes first. Next, I'm going to
start with taking the lashes. They come just like this in little clusters, and there are
two different sizes. There's a smaller size and a larger size. So what we're going to
start with first is the outer side of the eye and we're going to use the longer lashes
for that.
So I'm going to just pull off a little cluster. I'm using a lash applicator tool, but if you
don't have one of these you can also use tweezers. It makes it a little bit easier. I have a
little bit of black duo glue on my palette here and I'm just going to tap it in. You
need a really tiny amount of glue for this. Just take a little bit. Let it dry for a little
bit, but not too long and then I'm going to kind of go in on the side of the eye here.
Make sure that your lash is going on straight. So close your eye and I'm going to start in
the outer corner here, and you just want to kind of nestle this right in with the lashes.
You just continue doing these. You want to make sure that you know how many are on each
side. So I'm going to go back with another larger lash. Basically, you'll just work over
with the larger lashes to the smaller ones on each side and count how many. So if you
put three large ones and then two smaller ones, know to do the same thing on the other
side. I'm just placing this right next to it. You don't have to do them directly next
to each other because they're smaller at the base and then they widen out. So, you can
just kind of do that and I just kind of press them in a little bit, just so they're right
in there. But it's so easy, really simple. The lash tool does make it a little bit easier
just because you can see what you're doing a little bit better. That's the basics of
applying individual false lashes.
